Maggianos Family style eating (best for parties of 8 or more) is the place to eat in Boston. Hands down, end of discussion. It's so much food for the price, it's delicious. It was great. We celebrated my mom's birthday and she had a fantastic time. Staff was excellent, service was prompt. No complaints. Every dish is "bottomless". It's literally a 4-5 course meal if you can get the desserts. Will go back again and you should too.

A traditional Italian Restaurant in Boston. I was Alone as I sit on the bar but the guys was all time pending asking if I need something, bring the bread (delicious), water with the food, offer dessert all the thinks that I can expect from a professional waitress!! The food was so good pasta with personality. I read previos reviews and I was not disappointed as those are almost excellent because for me it was !!

Why did this not meet up to expectations?- The restaurant was half empty yet we had to wait for a table. Why?- The scampi were not that great. You can find much better in Boston!- The Bolognese had too much cream in the sauce. It's tomato right? Don't make an Italian cry!- Pasta options for dinner were limited. You can find them in first courses all over Italy. - The Bread was so-so. Okay, this is just a side to fill you up. Next, pineapple in pizza? This is just getting a very Americanized here.

Best Picatta ever.....and I have eaten it all over the Northeast. Phenomenal server and all 8 of my party feel the same way. Will be there again next visit to Boston. Keep doing what you're doing !!!!

First visit for a Thanksgiving meal. Portions were gigantic and everything was delicious.

This was our first year doing breakfast with Santa and it was a ton of fun. There was a craft table for the kids, a sugar cookie decorating station, a hot cocoa bar and each kid got to take home magic reindeer food. The only suggestion I would make is if possible have a staff member working the cookie station and crafts, it was a little crazy at times.

Classic Italian done right. My chicken parmesan was delicious, and my son's linguine with clams was wonderful. The service was prompt, and courteous. The servings were generous if not almost too much for one person to eat. The atmosphere was everything I expect from an Italian eatery.

Food was delicious! Service was great!Definitely gets busy on a Saturday night. Also they only take walk ins after 8pm so make sure to have a reservation all setup! I'd advise trying something new and not going with the good old Fettuccine Alfredo lol

I love, love, love Maggiano's! There food never disappoints me! I have had several family and friend engagements here! The family style meal is the way to go with groups of 4 or more! In my opinion you make out best! Never ending food and there are a lot of variety to choose from! The drinks are also amazing!

Check around for inspirational and motivational quotes. The menu is very diverse, colorful and nutritionaWe started with the juices, thrive alive (carrots, apple and ginger) is very sweet with a hint of ginger. I love it! Ginger crush (ginger, lemon, maple syrup) is more fresh and sour. Refreshing!

Well it is Monday afternoon arrived at 1:40pm. Took about 5 minutes before a waiter or water was seen. Seated by the window there were less than 15 parties around. Finally got initial order of sparkling water at 2pm. Orders were taken at 2:07pm. Warm bread came at 2:11pm, no butter? Daughter got spaghetti and meatballs, sauce was tasty and they meatball was fresh. I got the ham and cheese sandwich which was disappointing freshness wise. The potato wedges it came with looked tired. At any rate, it was a lengthy experience for what I was anticipating to be a short lunch. By the time I had paid the bill, it was 2:48pm for a plate of spaghetti and an unenthused sandwich. Place was tidy and clean.

Great food. I wish they had more vegan options. But it was great.. I ordered Mediterranean Pasta. The capers in them tasted amazing. If in Boston and craving good Italian, this is the place. The place is packed.. so get your bookings early.

I read reviews before reserving a table here and all the reviews were great. I had to see it for myself. And guess what, it's awesome. I really like how the place looks from inside. Food is good and service is better. The servers were really polite and courteous. The Ravioli was the hit of the day. Ended up ordering one more dish to go! Good food options for vegetarians as well. Great atmosphere and interior design! Excellent place for dinner!

I made valentines day reservation 2 weeks prior. We were seated promptly. Our server was awesome! Food was outstanding. The desert was DELICIOUS. This is my FAVORITE restaurant. Nobody beats the service, food, atmosphere here. I'll be coming here forever.

Very good Italian style fare, especially if you go with the family style. All you can eat AND they'll give everyone some to take home. Even the dessert.

It's a trap! A tourist trap. Fine - you want to feel special and go somewhere that's popular and jammed with people - I get it. But this is really basic italian food - a notch above Olive Garden. So go and enjoy - just promise your tummy that someday you'll have the guts to head into the North end and get the real deal.

We celebrated a bridal shower there. The service was great. And the portions very large. However I'm giving only 3 stars because the food was just average, nothing that would really convince me to eat there frequently. I would only recommend this place to host gatherings and parties because they offer food packages with unlimited refills and also you can pack all the left overs to take home. The interior is pretty nice as well.

This place is incredible I've been here 2 times!! Best Italian food I've had at a restaurant. I wish I remember the 2 waiters names I had both were awesome at their job's. Hopefully when I go there next time I will see them and remember their names. Highly recommend

My lobster Alfredo was good but chef forgot peas(it was on menu) My husband's veal was VERY dry. My daughter in-law had to remind waiter her dish came with pasta. But on a whole I would go again. We were going to the theater so didn't have time to correct items that were off. My husband would have sent back his dish(veal parmagane) but we were taken out to dinner as part of our Christmas gift, and under a time constraint.

After being seated immediately upon arrival we waited over 10 minutes for someone from the wait staff to come to our table...all we got was our water glasses filled. It took another 5 minutes for our waitress to arrive. 15 minutes just to order on a relatively slow night seemed unreasonable. The food was good, when it arrived, and was reasonably priced. I would have given 4-Stars for my visit but deducted 1-Star for the excessive wait. An additional 1-Star deduction because they validated our parking with a 5-hour validation because they ran out of 3-Hour stickers, this resulted in being charged $5 extra to park.

Went here before going to the Blue Man group wanted Italian without going into the North End. Great restaurant, atmosphere and food! Defiantly going back probably one of the best Italian restaurants we have been too. We went with children but it seems suitable for families and date night!

Quincentennial old world Italian Restaurant in the heart of Boston, not in the North End! Beautiful rich interior. DELICIOUS consistent food. If going with a group of 4 or more I would recommend doing family style. They provide plenty of food. Nice rooms for small parties. Highly Recommended!

I have to say, for a chain, this place never disappoints!! The bread was great, wine was basic, and food was great!! We had the surf and turf (steak was cooked perfectly) and the light version of chicken parmigiana (which my fiance said was amazing and just as good as the full calorie option). Just makes me so sad that the put the calories on the menu. Service was great and the atmosphere was warm and friendly!

We just had the family style dinner here. It was very good. The app and the salad were tasty. The two pastas we had were fresh and properly cooked. Our meats were both well prepared and dessert was yummy. The wait staff was professional but friendly. Our drinks were always full and she had some good recommendations. The food is not the best Italian you will ever have, but for the price it is hard to beat. Overall, an excellent experience.

Second time at this restaurant. 1st time last year was good. This visit we opted for the family style as there were 8 of us. Big mistake, was served what I would consider cafeteria/buffet quality food. Some items were good, the main courses, 'especially' the salmon was absolute buffet quality food. I would go back and try regular individual meals but never go for the family style again.

Went here for a family party event, and it was very good. The catered food was an excellent the location was interesting and private and well decorated, clean and all in all enjoyable to be in. A good quality an excellent variety of foods at the buffet that was served, and the wait staff was fantastic with every request that we made.

Came here for a friend's birthday on a Sunday night. Restaurant wasn't that full, so we were seated immediately even without a reservation. I got the eggplant parmesan (good sized portion that came with pasta) and mushroom ravioli (7 ravioli in an alfredo sauce) to split with a friend and both were delicious! The service was great, and the waiter even brought lemon cookies with some candles for the birthday boy.

Such an AMAZING place. We went for the Halloween Murder Mystery and had such a great time. The food was delicious, the people were great, the price for the murder mystery was well worth it! We were some of the younger people, in our early 20s, and still had a blast. Go if you can!

Steamed mussels with the spicy marinara sauce were amazing! Superb creme brûlée. Lasagna was good. Chicken Marsala was dry and overcooked (a super common problem with chicken at many restaurants). Service was great. Ambiance is trendy & classy.

Maggiano's is customer focused and a lovely atmosphere with classic touches. Tomas took great care of us and right away asked about food allergies. When I said yes he brought a chef to discuss options with us to ensure a safe experience; what a gem! This establishment clearly cares about the Customer experience and trains their team well. We had a great experience with an attentive, kind, respectful, efficient waiter. We felt cared for as I rarely see a restaurant care for food allergies in this manner. It is refreshing and gave us a wonderful reaction free night to remember. We look forward to returning, and telling others of our positive experiences.If you're looking for a great evening with a team who does it excellently Maggiano's is the place for you.

We stayed at a hotel across from this restaurant when we were at Boston. The food was delicious to the point that we had it for two nights in a row. The first night we got the fetuccine alfredo, their special rigatoni, steak, calamares, and spumoni ice cream. They have complementary baguettes as well. The second night we got flatbread margarita and lasagna for takeout. If you come here, get their pastas because that is truly their specialty. The ice cream was delightful as well. Great service too. Nice staff. Stop by this place when in Boston.

I went in with $20 and I got a decaffeinated coffee and the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce. My server actually paid for my coffee, since I just barely couldn't afford! The food was great, the atmosphere is casual and laid back, they were playing a lot of Frank Sinatra, and the decor was perfect. They have a lot of old pictures, including one of Frank Sinatra that was signed by him. Fantastic overall
